Aedan

He had convinced me that it would be a good idea to hire a rotovator for a morning before raking and setting seed on the area churned up by the machines . So at the crack of dawn he and I set off for Skibbereen Hire Certre with the trailer hitched on . So this is Aedan concentrating on manoeuvering the machine in the right direction. I left him at it and he did a great job.

Meanwhile Thomas, the wwoofer, wanted to go into Bantry to go for a swim with 2 of his friends. He said it wasn't as cold as last week.

Then a quick spin back to Skib with the machine. Followed by stone picking and raking ( and cooking dinner, washing a pile of clothes, etc etc).

Shortly afterwards my real work began; only three and a half hours admittedly. But I'm not finished yet. Colm needs collecting at midnight!
