Inappropriate Attire II

We've had a great fun day today. We enjoyed not having to rush out too early, then set off on the bike to nastics. But first we met Ava and her mummy for a play in the play centre. The girls went on every single play frame, both going down the big bumpy slide on their own now, chasing and hidin. And playing with menus for a long time.

Although they had fun in the play centre, as always, they knew when it was nearly time for nastics and both wanted to go "wait their turn". There was lots of easter songs and activities today, egg balance, peter rabbit songs, chick and duck dancing, along with the normal apparatus circuit and bar/beam time. Katie had enjoyed the bars as always, but today so did Monkey.

She fell asleep in the bikeseat on the way home from gymnastics (I was very grateful we have the WeeRide, she just rested her head and slept, bless her) and continued to sleep for a while in bed at home. I got her up and we headed out to do the shopping on the bike again. We did the main shop and booked it for delivery, but she pinched an ice cream from it first and we went for a few bits from another shop.

When we got home, we did today's messy activity (she's obsessed with paint at the moment) which was a variation on something that I'd seen on pinterest. She wore her messy clothes and her heels. To clean her hands a bit, she did hand prints and painting on black paper. When she'd done that picture, she took it to show Monkey, who was sat watching in the swing near her. She then did another, which she said Monkey had done.
