Is that real?

Probably not even this curious dog imagines it to be real gold, but I do find it amazing that these perfect cubes of pyrite are genuine. I'd love to just happen upon one in the ground one day, but so far my fossicking has been restricted to Ebay and the local rock show last weekend.

I don't know how to use my camera and had to click off about 40 shots before I found a picture with everything reasonably well focused.

By the way, this is probably the most famous piece of pyrite on blipfoto, having already been blipped here and here.
