Swimming!

I've been swimming today. I've had such fun. Ann threw my blue bouncy ball into the sea and I had to swim to retrieve it. This is a blip of me having a rest in the sunshine. It's been another really hot day and racing around in the heat is hard work for a gorgeous little collie like me.

Ann says she might start swimming in the sea?! She is very, very, angry tonight. This is what has happened:

Today she got a letter from 'St Ives Leisure Centre' telling her that her monthly swimming membership is going up by 25%. Not only that, it will no longer include any of the 'aquafit or hydro running' classes. If she wants to do those it will cost extra.

Apparently, Cornwall Council's leisure facilities have been 'outsourced', whatever that may mean?

No wonder Britain is becoming a nation of 'fat slobs' when things like this happen.

Ann is really tempted just to cancel her membership, on principle - and spend the money she saves on more bottles of wine for drinking on our very sunny sun terrace?!

However, contrary to what all you Blippers think, she doesn't spend all her life drinking wine - she does like to keep fit too. So I guess she's just going to have to pay the new fees.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....................................she's not happy.
