purple power...

i admit it... i am a purple addict! i love purple... the color - or anything associated with purple... is it a sickness - a disease - will it be the death of me?

i don't believe so... because -

purple is royalty... (knew i picked it for a special reason) a mysterious color, purple is also associated with both nobility and spirituality... (there ya go - don't you think i fit into both those categories seamlessly?) the opposites of hot red and cool blue combine to create this intriguing color... (that certainly explains why i can run the gamut of being hot and cold - now doesn't it... boo!) it's said purple has a sacred place in nature... lavender, orchid, lilac, and violet flowers are delicate - considered precious... a purple room can boost creativity - as well as imagination...

there's so much more i could say about the color purple... but you'd think i was getting long winded again... and i can't have that... so i'll leave it at this - knowing that there are others who enjoy the fact that purple is on the color spectrum - oh so grateful - it makes for...
