One thing after another

Today has been a very frustrating day in many ways. Won't go into details about the work day but it has continued that way. Staff meeting tonight so 5 o'clock finish then got stuck in this unexpected traffic jam due to roadworks. At least the view was nice!!So it took me an hour to get home and I then found out I was due out again at 7!

Now I actually NEEDED fuel today or I probably wouldn't have made it back from work tomorrow. Morrisons had run out, there was a long queue at the Co-op and Tesco was extremely busy. Maddening. They are still delivering and cannot go on strike without 7 days notice!!! Did manage to get filled up so I'm ok for another 550 miles or so.

Then the meeting I was at dragged on a bit, ending after 9 and, to cap it all, got caught by the level crossing on the way home.

No rest for the wicked they say. Humph!!
