All of a sudden....

Back light on the red currant shines through the loose bark, and suddenly they are not only in leaf but in flower.

The bees were buzzing round them all day.

It's been a beautiful sunny and hot day today too and looks good for our trip away. The only thing bothering me is the fact that the conservatory gets unbearably hot during the day so I don't know if my plants will survive.

I have tomatoes and other small plants in there as it's still too cold at night to put them in the greenhouse.

I shall have to ask a friend to water them for me when we are away.
