New growth

I have a tiny Japanese Maple in the garden. It has survived two winters and I hope will grow much larger beside the "pond" in the bottom bed.

The pond is just one of those garden soft buckets for carrying things but it contains a small water lily and an iris and gives the wild life somewhere to be.

I do have a big pond with a proper liner and another that is a washing up basin sunk in the ground. They all fill a purpose.

It was so hot today that I ended up having to retreat from the sun for a while!
