Crazy
There is usually feedback on how Jnr Jnr is a little cutie in the portraits I post of her......well, this is the real deal right here. She's like this most of the time, and you can imagine what nonsense comes out of the mouth of a kid like this. Love her to bits :)
Jnr Snr is out tonight on her first school residential trip, big excitement for weeks culminating in a non-stop-talking morning where I thought she'd pass out for lack of oxygen!
Mrs H says a big thank you for all the birthday wishes too for yesterday - ta all you lovely people.

Someone brought in an article from yesterday's Independent on how house prices are being driven up in the catchment of certain primary schools (a swing from the usual decision based on secondary). Prices are being inflated by an average of £91,000 against the national house price average for the top 100 performing schools. Even rents are 9% higher as landlords are cashing in on this too. Well, they published the top 10 schools that have the highest percentage difference against national average house prices and our school was third!!!!!
Well, that gave me a mixed feeling. I was chuffed to bits at first - by seeing our school in a national newspaper (especially as we are tiny with just over 60 pupils and 4 teachers), and by taking it as an indication on how well we must be doing to have this (statistically) significant influence. Then I realised that all of our hard work is making a ton of dough for house sellers and estate agents.....more on the sale of one house that we could earn in over 5 years!!!! Damn economics.
