Camellia bush in bloom

I love my camellia bush and couldn't resist putting it on blip again. Today felt like a good day to show it off. Flowers are opening every day with more to come. I worked out that I have had this bush for a little over 25 years and it has never produced so many flowers. This year it is the best it has ever been.
The weather continues to be quite beautiful, wall to wall sunshine and clear blue skies. I spent the morning giving my car it's annual BIG clean. Using my Toyota cleaning kit it has been shampooed, waxed, polished and 'hoovered', now it is gleaming. Seems a shame to take it out on the road. However, I am driving up to Billingham this evening for another rehearsal.
I intended going out to buy more plants this afternoon but the weather was too good to miss. Instead went walking above Boltby village up onto the Cleveland Way and a stretch of the moor top skyline. It was so lovely I sat on the grass by the path for a few minutes to enjoy the sunshine, bliss.
I do hope the good weather continues for at least a few more days, there are more walks to be planned!
