Make the most of them while they're here....

I know it's not very original, but here is my daffodil blip. They are my favourite flower. Not because they are the prettiest although they are pretty. But because they signal the start of spring. They spring up all over the place and brighten up what was before dull and wintery.

Shame they are gone so quickly really.

Talking of daffs, for fun with the kids, try putting food colouring in the water of cut daffs. See what happens over a few days. My children learnt lots about plant life that way whilst having fun with it.


Fab day today. Time with the family and bike ride to the pub. Only six miles but plenty for the kids on their first ride of the summer.
