A nice sunny walk for the spaniel and I first thing this morning. Lots of tree blossom is now out and I saw a couple of Brimstones flying around. I'm due to walk the new butterfly transect later today. It shouldn't take more than an hour or so and covers 12 different habitat compartments. Recording is due to start from 1st April and will last for 26 weeks. I've also got to decide which narcissi to cut for tomorrow's Spring Flower show. We have 14 classes although I don't seem to have any small cup narcissi in flower yet so I'll probably only enter 12.
