Spinning Straw into Gold

Lazy blip tonight - feeling exhausted from insomnia - so relying on the subject's beauty rather than my own technical skills.

One of these days, when I'm not so tired, I WILL get around to reading my camera manual and doing a course on photography. But at the moment, my best intentions seem to be waylaid by the charm and wizardry and artistic genius of all you other people's blips.

So many new subscriptions to make, so many comments to post ... but another night I fear! Ready to drop now the kids are in bed, just as soon as I get the washing up done.

Today is a study of Im's hair, and her longing for Rapunzel-tresses. We keep forgetting to anoint it with the snake oil (sorry, hair-strengthening cream) I was conned into buying.

This week was a particularly straggly affair, with not a single plait or pony tail achieved before school. A triumph for one of us anyway...
