Getting Ready

The show ring is pegged out, the marquees are up, the pens constructed for the animals, the public address system is installed, the merry-go-round awaits, and the new farm machinery is taking its position. Now all that is wanting are the people, the animals, the information stalls, the baking, the flowers and vegetables, the crafts, and all the other things that make up a country Agricultural and Pastoral Show.

It starts tomorrow with the horses. There are so many equestrian events that they are going from dawn to dusk.
