Spinning Blade

The low hedge had grown so high that I could hardly see the mountains. I attacked it with hedge clippers, but the hedge is wide and I could reach only half of it. Normally I'd go round to the other side, but there is an electric fence there now. I have learned to pay electric fences a lot of respect, and so it was left to grow.

Today I heard an almighty clatter and rushed out with my camera. This is all I saw. The monster driving the blade was behind the high hedge out of sight, but it had a very long arm. The hedging contractor was trimming the hedges of the farm next door. My bit of hedge took him only a few seconds.
