Royal Society

Up early to speak at a meeting at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). The RSC is at Burlington house when you enter the courtyard the first thing you see is the Royal Academy - there is a Hockney exhibition on at the moment which I need to catch - to the right hand side is the RSC. Today BP had booked out the conference room we were meant to be using so we got moved to the Linnean Society of London - not been in here before but was amazed I got to lecture at the same podium Darwin and Wallace used when addressing the audience about the theory of evolution...... what a privilege!
