Golden daffodils

If you'd turned into our lane from the A629 you'd have been greeted by an amazing display of daffodils on the roadside verge. The bulbs were provided by the Parish Council some year ago and they are currently at their best - they definitely seemed to call out to be blipped this afternoon.

Earlier in the day:
- Hangingwater Studio - no printmaking today but some additions made to a couple of my mono-prints using water soluble oil pastel and pen & ink;
- a trip to Pinders to buy card and to find out about their Giglee printing service;
- a beer in the garden, though it was getting a little cool by the time we came in;
- cook and eat our evening meal;
- computer - which seems to be working again. I wonder what tomorrow will bring!

Oh and the good news about the house - the building inspectors have approved or plans - subject to all bedroom windows being fully opening from the bottom (we have open stairs). It looks like Glyn will be able to start shortly.

The bad news - we're going to have to get on with packing up a lot of stuff before they start knocking holes in walls!
