Is it a bag, a poke or a portion that you ask for?
Do you have them with salt 'n' vinegar, salt 'n' sauce (brown or red) or curry sauce?
Do you have them on their own or in a roll or as part of a supper.
And if a supper is your thing, what is your preference?
Battered fish
Breaded fish
Haggis
Black pudding
White pudding
Steak pie
Scotch pie
King rib
Smoked sausage
Pizza
Spring roll
Chip-steak
Spam fritter
Ham burger
Or summit else?
Pickled onions or pickled eggs?
Do you like them left open, ready to eat or wrapped up tight, until you get home?
And when you do, do you empty them onto a plate, or eat them straight out of the paper?
Do you prefer them thin and crispy or short and chunky?
There's a lot to consider when you buy chips!
