Whip It
I know it's not the genuine article ie a Rowntree Mackintosh Walnut Whip.
No, this is a copy from the well known high street chain of fetish shops S&M.
I might've gotten the name muddled a little but you know who I mean, don't you? ;)
Retro sweets and sweet shops are all the rage just now.
You can buy Chelsea Whoppers, Spanish Gold, Bubbly, Bazooka Joe, oh and 101 others or so it seems.
Some sweets however, never go out of circulation.
Mars, Twix (sweet or biscuit?), Creme Egg, why is that?
One particular childhood favourite was Mint Cracknel, a curious combination of Kryptonite green - glass fibre centre, covered in chocolate (plain/dark) if my memory serves me well.
Now that's a retro sweetie I'd like to see return.
Not sure if it would have to carry a government health & safety warning.
DANGER: This sweet bar may cause lacerations to the roof of your mouth!
Best give it to a responsible adult.
