Art #4 - A sand fortress

I had a great time last night, but I woke up a bit hangover today. I would have loved to go somewhere outside Edinburgh to spend the day, or even cycle all the way to Balerno all along the Water of Leith because the weather was lovely today, but I had a busy day ahead, so I just went to Portobello for a couple of hours. That's where I spotted this little work of art!

Portobello was full of people enjoying the sun with their loved ones and walking their dogs. The difficult thing about cycling along Portobello promenade is trying to avoid children, dogs and stray footballs. Otherwise, it's quite a pleasant cycle, especially on a sunny day. It did clear my head as well!

Busy with cake baking duties and a long list of things to catch up with. Getting there! Back to work tomorrow, so having a quiet and relaxing night in today.
