The Wounded Soldier

Treated to a lovely Mother's day lunch by first born beautiful boy, who dislocated and fractured his wrist yesterday playing football. Here he is bravely holding his glass of wine in his right hand, whilst the broken and displaced 'bits' in his injured left hand are held in place by a temporary back slab. He'll need more than a glass of wine to endure tomorrow's procedure to put everything back in place and have a full cast applied. Much more worrying for him, though, is the realisation that that's the football season over for him for this year.
