Honey

The Mother's Day cake was unveiled for breakfast this morning.

It was a honey and chocolate cake and so obviously the kids had made some marzipan honey bees to buzz around the top. Gorgeous it is too.

Suitably fueled up it was off to Penicuik for Eve's football match. She's decided she is a defender and put in some great crunching tackles this morning.

A quick call from the car to my Mum to check in. She'd had breakfast in bed so was getting well looked after too.

Back home to the smell of roasting chicken.
