Commuters

Lucy and I are now commuters. Every morning we cycle to central, buy ourselves a day return to newport and catch the 7.45 to Nottingham from platform forby (which is what 4b sounds like over the tanoy thing).
At 8 we arrive at newport and walk another 15 mins to the hospital.
I'm on outpatients (patients that aren't staying in). It's mostly post op (lots of hip and knee replacements) or post fracture people with the odd soft tissue injury thrown in. On thursday afternoon and friday I'm in hands, which are a lot more complicated than you might think. I'm with another Lucy, which is nice so we could work together to start with but now we have our own patients (up to 8 or 9 a day!) and we just get on with it!
