Thursday: Women's Day

I attended an event this evening which, although a bit late, was to mark International Women's Day.  Together with the Museum of Contemporary Art we sponsored the local premiere of 'Made in Dagenham'.  It has taken a while to get the rights to show it locally and it is now going to run for the next few weeks, both at the Museum and at another cinema locally.

Really enjoyed the film (once I had got the speech I had to make out of the way!) and met some great people at a reception afterwards.

This is advertising an exhibition at the Museum, but I'm afraid I can't tell you what for.  It was a bit hard to whisk out my camera during the reception, although, believe me, I was sorely tempted!
