House for an Art Lover

This is a photo of the Music Room in the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. We had a lovely time looking around it today, with M and D.

The House for an Art Lover is based on a design produced in 1901 by Charles Rennie Mackintosh with his wife, Margaret MacDonald. Construction began in 1989 and the house was finally opened to the public in 1996.

It is a lovely place to visit and also to have lunch.
Later, we visited the newly refurbished Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh, then went out for dinner.
