Scottish gallery of Modern Art

I am back-blipping, as we have been busy with our visitor.
We went to the gallery today, to see the Cadell exhibition before it finishes on the 18th. Margaret loved it, as I knew she would.
This is a statue by Antony Gormley, at the entrance to the gallery across the road from the Dean Gallery. Although the first sculpture is a full-length cast, it is buried in the ground up to chest level, facing walkers when you enter the Gallery grounds.
It is part of a sculpture project (2010) called '6 Times', which stretches from the capital to the coast. The project features six life-sized human sculptures, and this is the first one, which has been buried up to its chest.
The remaining five statues are positioned along a three mile stretch of water, with three statues taking up spots standing in the Water of Leith, while the final figure gazes over an abandoned pier at Leith Docks.
We went down to the Water of Leith from the back of the gallery, but were unable to find the statue. It has been removed!! Then we were locked out and had to get round the long way!
