Blackie
A very lack lustre day, with the sun promising to appear but it didn't quite manage it.
I blipped a few small birds but this " blackie " caught my eye. I have always admired the different tones in the plumage and the fact that it is not truly black. Off course all the wee birds scattered when this one appeared. Later I heard Oscar barking at the front door, when I looked out there was a massive magpie, beautifully marked, sitting at the feeder station.
A bit of a red letter day ( perhaps it should be red email day- doesn't work quite the same ! ) . I received an email from The herald telling me they were publisihing my Urban Fox shot which I took at the Edinburgh blipmeet. Well chuffed as the childrren say.
