Sunrise between the Pearls

I took some sunrise pics the other day only to find that I hadn't changed my settings from night before and they didn't come out and have been waiting for a clear sky to try again. Today was sort of clear, although a bit white but seeing as the sun's moving so fast to the north I might not get it directly between the two pearls on the bridge again. A similar statue existed in town and was called Pearl Roundabout but unfortunately due to uprisings here last February they pulled it down, so these pearls on Hidd bridge will have to do as the pearl icon of Bahrain now. I wasn't living here then so have only seen photos.

After sunrise I ran 3km to the gym, did a spinning class, wondered around town and then made my tired way home - rushed up to cool down in the pool and slipped and pulled the tendons in my ankle - not nice seeing as I'll be walking airports.
