Summitting Kosciuszko

First up, this is Mike's photo since only two of the party made it to the summit and I wasn't one of them. But, to the extent this blip is diary, I couldn't let L's achievement pass un-noted.

Wonderfully sunny but bitterly cold wind on top. The forecast was 10, feels like 2 but felt more like -2 to us. Im was the first to crack (and that would have been the perfect blip) and O not soon after. We were all recovering or succumbing to various cold-related maladies, so it seemed like a much better idea to abandon the expedition in search of hot chocolate.

L rushed back, spurred on by the thought of the bobsled and pool, and was full of energy for the remainder of the day.
