Fulmar
I headed to Deerness and walked the west shores. by St Peter's Pool, past Eve's Loch to Mirkady where I made coffee by Groat's Fishing Station. Then the coast turns nort-east . A couple of Iceland gulls were on Loch of Ouse. I intended to take the road back but pushed on instead along the Dale of Helzie as far as the Covenanter's Memorial, then tracks and road back to Dingieshowe to get the bus.
This fulmar was one of hundreds on the cliffs. Also of note were the six short-eared owls along the way, none of which were very co-operative in being photographed.
A couple more shots here.
