The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men....

I had a really good blip planned (and, I thought, executed) for today.

On the way to work this morning, a herd of Highland cows was blocking the road, and they appeared through the mist, approaching the car.

Snap! Snap! Wonderful atmospheric shots - except that I found that the camera was not on automatic focus. So - many photos of blurry coos in the mist........

Tonight was my first night in the house for ages, and I am truly knucked and fackered. I couldn't bear the thought of leaving the couch, the sherry and the fire.

This is tonight's Highland view........ from the couch, in front of the fire, and with the sherry (temporarily) out of sight.
