Warm welcome

This bright and friendly welcome to Edinburgh caught my eye this morning. Needless to say, about 30 seconds past it I encountered the usual barrage of roadworks which are just rife in the city at the moment.

A day off work today. Spent it with a great friend at the spa at the Caledonian Hotel, courtesy of a Groupon voucher. Stobo, it isn't but it was just so great to switch off and have a girly chat all day followed by a late lunch.
