I don't care what the weatherman says....

....I was thinking about smithski's super blip about the summer weather and how wet and crappy its been.
In truth I'm one of the few people I know that really doesn't mind the rain or wind, and I'm just about as happy on a wet day as I am on a sunny day (not too keen on wind and rain together though).

However, the British climate rarely, if ever, sends the fear of god up me in the way it does elsewhere in the world. Couldn't help but feel slightly grateful that I live in wet old Blighty today rather than New Orleans, the northern Caribbean or the Horn of Africa.
