New Framing Hammer!

Can't believe that I got quite so much pleasure in buying a framing hammer today.

Spent the last few weeks hitting things (mainly nails) with my "finishing" hammer as everyone likes to remind me. But decided today that with a bit of framing coming up I needed to have the real deal. No more "you really need a framing hammer" comments at me anymore. No more whacking a 3 inch nail 8 times to get it in. No more looking like a clueless amateur...well scrub that last bit...I'll be an amateur with a nice framing hammer now.

You can't see it from this hammer but it has one very important feature - a little imprint on the head that says "Made in U.S.A.". I'm tired of buying everything that says "Made in China", everything originates in China and for the most part it's not that easy to dodge. Want a new computer? Tv? Stereo? Camera? Dishwasher? etc. Always "Made in China". You don't really have a choice.

Well enough is enough, a home brand was available today, so went for that instead.

And here's the gotcha - the "Made in U.S.A." hammer cost no more than the "Made in Taiwan", "Made in Mexico" or "Made in China" hammers!
