Wigeon

Thanks to everyone who came up with an idea of what the birds were yesterday. With a little help from you folks and a bit of internet research I found out that they are....Indian Runner Ducks.
Another glorious day here, so went to the nearest reserve....Spotted some Wigeon on the way down, usually they fly off as soon as they see me....No puns please...But today they did not seem bothered.We are going back to Bempton Cliffs again on Thursday to see the Puffins....Last week I saw one so hopefully a few more have arrived.
