Spring
What a gorgeous day! It feels like spring has really arrived. I spent a lot of the day tidying up in the garden and doing lots of the stuff I should really have done in the autumn. Shrubs trimmed, grass cut, buddleias cut back and front borders weeded and hoed.
While hoeing the front I managed to cut a daffodil stalk. Rather than let it go to waste I put it in a vase and looking forward to it flowering on the windowsill over the next week or two. Here's a shot of it, trying on a white background this time.
To me it looks a bit like Audrey (the carnivorous plant) from The Little Shop Of Horrors.
Work tomorrow, and I've got two sets of portraits to take for in internal publication. They want the shots with props, and the lady tomorrow morning is bringing her ladradoodle - could be fun!
Tomorrow's theme is Grass - though I seem to have been going freestyle recently. I might try and persuade on of the portrait people to allow me to put up their picture.
