Vanilla & Cardamom

Today I made some whoopee pies. Cardamom has a strange smell and I was a bit wary of putting it in but I actually really like the taste! These pies were a bit crispy and thick, so if anyone has a recipe for the *perfect* whoopee pie I'd be very thankful!
