Down but not out!

Out in the forest at the moment, the trees are still bare which makes it easy to get good views of the fallen ones. This large beech tree had lots of moss growing which caught the light beautifully. After I took this shot I had a closer look at the root and I watched fascinated as new life emerged before my very eyes! I'll keep you in suspense until I return tomorrow to show you what I mean!
