Is Oliver's inner child watching over him, or is that his Doppleganger?

No, it's just his new baby sister, who my family adopted yesterday from a college student who found her near his apartment in Montclair, New Jersey, USA. She had been abandoned. The young man was heartbroken that he could not keep her.

Enter....an old friend who happens to rent from the boy's dad. She has 5 cats and a dog, and when he said , "NO," to her request to take the kitty, she called me. It was really strange to go pick up the "baby". She looks A LOT like Oliver. Maybe that's why he likes her.

I have lived with at least one cat my entire life, and am really happy that Ollie now has a friend to pester him.
