The Cage at Lyme Park
Flick and I are spending this week in Manchester, and today for the bank holiday we decided that a visit to Lyme Park near Stockport would be a suitable day out - even though we knew that the whole world would be there.
It was a warm and windy day with the odd outbreak of sunshine to cheer us up, and we even managed to park.
The house and gardens were quite charming, and as we walked around, we both notice two stunningly pretty little twin girls coming out of a doorway. In fact, they looked the spitting image of our very own "twinblips".
After convincing ourselves that they might actually be them, Flick called out "buzzcocksfan" to their father. And to our amazement, it was confirmed that we had indeed bumped into the buzzcocksfan/twinblips clan.
We stood and chatted for a while, then had to depart.
The trip to Lyme park will always be remembered for meeting such a delightful family, and I hope the day comes when we can meet up again and will have time to natter over coffee and cake. It was really great to see you all.
