Northern Cardinal Kona Hawaii
We are so fortunate to be on the island of Hawaii this week as the entire group of the Hawaiian islands have been under weather advisories for flash floods and crazy weather! They had huge hail on Oahu, which seems a bit unusual for this balmy climate. For some reason it has totally missed our side of the big island!
Today I got a photo of the Northern Cardinal which was introduced to the islands in 1929 from the northern US. They are fairly hard to find here, and I've only seen them twice! I loved how he was perched in the palm!
