Spring is busting out all over
Change of plan today.
Not the Lizard but Newlyn, as our great friend and super cook wanted some sea bass for evening meal, (which he is now cooking!!)
It's great having friends to stay who insist on doing the cooking, and are good at it too!!
After a superb pasty at Aunty May's shop, we went to Trewidden.
This is a photo of a huge magnolia bud just about to open. The outside of the bud is like soft fur.
The trees were amazing!
Lovely gardens.
Back to Porthleven and Cornish ice creams from Naughty but Ice!
Now mulled wine while Tony is cooking (. Rick Stein recipe,) roasted sea bass with red peppers. Can't wait!!
