Flying visit ....
Had to leave work early this afternoon for a dental appointment (nothing torturous to be done thankfully), so I only took a fairly short lunch-break to c0mpensate.
At the bottom end of Bracondale wood, where it abuts the footpath leading behind County Hall is an area full of snowdrops with a smattering of crocuses, so I paid a quick visit to that area to see what might be blippable. There I found this little beauty, opened out flat and with a small fly sampling the spilled nectar. Purple or purple/white veined are my favourite of all, so I just had to blip this one, especially with its little visitor as a bonus.
