Shiny new kettle

We have a new kettle, and a shiny one at that. I shouldn't go into too many details about the fate of the previous kettle; just to say my parents were visiting, my mum was helpfully making tea, and, well, it did look very much like a stove top gas kettle, even if it wasn't.
