Rain

It was raining earlier today, so tried to capture it (like trying to catch the wind, now there's a good name for a song, book, film...).

I liked the way the reds on the patio slabs and Victorian wall are brought out by the wetness, so took a few and blipped this one.

Even though it brightened up later we decided to go to the cinema. Stratford Picture House is showing The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and boy is it poplar! It's the first time I've had to queue for a film before 6pm since Harry Potter.

Still it was worth it. Very good entertainment at a superficial level, though with some lovely shots of India. Best one-liner of the film:
"I wonder how we should spend our fortieth wedding anniversary"
"How about a one minute's silence?"
