The power and the glory
This a view down Leven beach in Fife. The lovely power station at the end of the beach has been closed for years and, as soon as they've figured out who's responsible for the clean-up, will be pulled down and replaced with fancy flats and a marina (well, that's what the bloke in the bacon sarnie van told us).
The kids had been very good and patient today while we painted and varnished, so we brought them here so they could let off some steam before the journey home. Great views back over the Firth to East Lothian and the chance to get some good close up shots of flying gulls. Unfortunately I still haven't got in the habit of focusing with my right eye so they're all blurry! (Must get those new contact lenses)
Our hard work in Fife was rewarded with a fine curry from North Berwick and (still to come) an early night for me.
