Tucumanas in Bed

Today was the first deadline for the magazine. Our first draft of our articles had to be in at midday so we were up at 7am, a record time for us. We sat and worked in bed all day until the afternoon, not even leaving for food! Rodrigo was the best and got us Tucumanas (a typical Bolivian pastry food filled with meat, potatoes and egg) delivered to the flat. After me telling Helena that the fact that we couldn't get them delivered was the worst news I'd heard, we were absolutely over the moon haha.

A good few hours later, I had achieved around half of my article and detailed a plan for the remainder. With the editor happy, I was able to relax and finish working for the day.

At 7.30 we headed to tango and this time I was convinced to go back. I'm glad I did as it went really well and I enjoyed it a lot. We also did some milonga dancing in preparation for tomorrow night and went over the steps we've learnt so far which I found so useful. Afterwards we headed straight to Zona Sur for the planned piano and jazz evening of Ivan's friend. Since we hadn't already eaten we had to stop off once again at the American diner....Factory. This time Helena and I shared the chicken goujons and nachos, and it was just as good as last time, if not better!

We ended up sitting for a good few hours over dinner with Jules and Dany joining us. By the time we finished it was pretty late and we couldn't get in contact with Ivan so we decided to head home. As we have a new edition to the flat family we did some rejigging when we got back and managed to fit a third double mattress into our room, ready for the nightly, family slumber parties. In the end we stayed up until 4am, not helping our 10am Spanish classes.
