6000 Young Voices & One Guiness World Record

Young Voices is the largest school choir organiser in the world and currently organises over 14 capacity concerts a year in the UK & Ireland's leading Arenas. Each year over 2,500 schools, 90,000 children 6,000 teachers and 120,000 family and friends come together to enjoy music and celebrate singing.

This evening's event featured folk, pop and rock medleys, and a world-beating challenge. Connie Talbot became an overnight star when she performed on Britain's Got Talent in 2007. Tonight, she led and 6000 followed at this amazing event in the O2, London. The whole evening was about getting Young Voices from schools across the region involved in something big and it certainly was.

The Guiness World Record for the biggest number of backing singers, supporting a solo artist was well and truly smashed. Daughter 1 performed as part of her school choir, whilst daughter 2 spectated.
