I was let out on my own again today. I caught a bus into town and went for a wander along the River Don. It was another beautiful day, and I was pleased with the sightings which included kingfisher, a pair of displaying goosander, long tailed tits, A BAT, and posing for the cameras today were grey wagtails. This one was just plain posing, admiring its reflection in the water. Not so long ago, the Don was a dead river. Nowadays it teems with life.
