The Morning After

This is the normally cloudless Muscat sky at 5:56am the morning after the city was struck by cyclone Gonu. There was a very eerie silence as the day worn on as people started to come to terms with the devastation of what happened, including losing homes and living without power and water.

We were actually stranded in our home for two days as the roads were all out of action.
